About me:
Some prefer the vision of a vast landscape, but it is the intimate details of nature that attract me. Fallen feathers, insects, shells and flowers draw my eye. My artwork combines drawing, design, color and nature – with just a touch of whimsy. It is in large part a tribute to my scientist father, who introduced me to the wonders of natural history at a very early age. On nature walks, he identified birds and plants, while I showed him where fairy gardens were hidden. Both viewpoints have always intrigued me.
